Lamar University will recognize and honor first-generation college students with a series of events, Nov. 6- Nov. 18. The events include a “Cardinal Care and First Gen Resource Fair,” Nov. 6, and a “Virtual First Gen College Celebration Event,” Nov. 8.
The “First Gen Student and Alumni Lunch and Learn” will be held, Nov. 10, followed by “Coffee and Conversations, Nov. 12, and the “McNair Scholars Research Symposium,” Nov. 13. Lastly, “Friendsgiving” will be held on Nov. 18 to close off the celebration.
